Our Local Community

Plexpack feels it is most important to come together through trying times and do all we can to support each other and our communities. In an effort to give back after a year when many need support and assistance, Plexpack decided to have a charity drive over the holidays.

Due to the coronavirus, many individuals and families are experiencing food insecurity. Therefore we elected to provide all donations to a local food bank- the Scarborough Centre for Healthy Communities.

With our team’s generosity, coupled with a 100% matching corporate donation, we were able to provide a donation that will feed over 10 families through the Scarborough Centre for Healthy Communities (SCHC) Foodbank!

The SCHC Food Bank is a staple program in our community and is one of the busiest programs of its kind in Scarborough. This program gives individuals and families experiencing food insecurity access to 1-2 days’ worth of food support every week.
