Inkjet printers

Printers are easily added to our bag and pouch sealers to add lot numbers, dates, serial numbers, or any other information you require on your packaged products. Both thermal inkjet (TIJ) or continuous inkjet (CIJ) printers are compatible with our packaging equipment and can be added as meets your needs.

Bag Top Trimmers

Bag Top Trimmers

The TR60 front end bag top trimmer can be added as an option to all Emplex MPS and ACS series bag sealers.  A height adjustable blade allows for accurate trim positioning and can be set to eliminate the ‘tail’ produced above the sealer. Trim scrap is positively removed by the trim belts and venturi vacuum system designed to prevent trim jams. The trimmer is easily removed for servicing or for non-trimmed sealing, this portable unit may also be added to the sealer at a later date.

Video Bag Top Trimmer

This geared trimmer mounts to the sealer’s infeed rail and can accommodate 1.5” to 4” tall trim. The venturi vacuum system is best suited for trim measuring from 1.5” to 2.75” tall.

The trimmer is easily removed for servicing or for non-trimmed sealing, this portable unit may also be added to the sealer at a later date. Replacement blades can be purchased through Plexpack.

Our standard conveyors are 6" x 6' long. For applications that require larger conveyors for heavy or large products we offer lines of conveyors deisgn to meet your needs.

For vertical bag sealing applications, our Emplex MPS 6500 & 7500 band sealers come standard with a 6″ wide by 6′ long conveyor. If you are sealing bags where a 6 x 6 conveyor with an 1/8 HP motor is not enough, we offer a line of 12″ wide, roller/belt conveyors as an upgrade. These conveyors run on their own 1/4 HP motor are electronically synced with and controlled by the sealer.

For horizontal bag sealing applications where oversized conveyors are required, we offer 12″, 24″ and 36″, flat bed conveyors. These conveyors run on their own motors and are electronically synched with and controlled by the sealer.

Compression Belts

We offer custom compression belts that integrate into our conveyors and packaging equipment. Designed to assist in reducing air in your packages our compression belts can be used in numerous packaging applications.

Embossers

Embossers

Embossers to mark packages with code can be added to our Emplex band sealers. Mounted at the exit rails the embosser can emboss your required code on packages after being sealed. The code placement can be adjusted to mark the packages anywhere in or above the seal area.

Video EMPLEX | Embosser

Our ER60 embosser can be added to all of our Emplex MPS and ACS series bag sealers. The embosser sits on the exit end of the bag sealer and the emboss is made after the bag has been sealed. A micro switch triggers one revolution of the embossing wheel and your code is placed anywhere in or above the seal area (this is adjustable at time of set up). 

The standard embosser wheel holds 8 standard characters in a single line or 13 slim characters in a standard line (the font is the same, but the spacing is compressed when using the slim type). An optional double line emboss wheel is available. Changing your type over takes less than two minutes. The embosser requires that individual pieces of type be purchased. The embosser does not come with type.

Our ER60 embosser can be added to all of our Emplex MPS and ACS series bag sealers.
