Shrink Wrap Tunnels

A Damark shrink-wrap tunnel consists of a conveyor belt that carries a product as it travels through the heated area. Heavy-duty, variable-speed turbo fans and heating elements heat the shrink film to create consistent, tight packaging around a product. Regardless of the width, length or overall size of your products, a shrink tunnel packaging machine provides streamlined and efficient shrink wrapping. 

Our shrink tunnels can be used in conjunction with Damark shrink-wrapping systems for uniform packaging.

STB/STR

ST Series

The Damark ST Series is the perfect solution for items that need to be enclosed in film. These tunnels are highly efficient and have a small footprint, allowing you to maximize floor space. The Damark ST Series has a standard width of 16 inches with tunnels that are 9 or 12 inches tall to accommodate products of varying heights. 

The standard features of our Damark ST Series include:

  • Heavy gauge steel body, welded tubular steel frame and base
  • PID electronic temperature controller to ensure a constant tunnel temperature
  • Variable speed conveyor system

The Damark SZX Series single-zone shrink tunnels are versatile and can operate independently or in conjunction with our SMC L-Bar Sealers, B Series Tray Wrappers & Bundlers, or FS Series Horizontal Shrink Wrappers. Available in two widths—24” and 34”—all SZX shrink tunnels feature a standard length of 58” and a chamber height of 16”.

The SZX Series also offers a choice of tunnel conveyor options to suit specific applications:

  • Live Rollers for polyolefin packaging
  • Dead Rollers for polyethylene packaging
  • Polymer Mesh Belt for small or unstable products

The Damark DZ Series of dual zone shrink tunnels can be used on their own or with our SMC L Bar Sealers, our B Series Tray Wrappers & Shrink Bundlers, our INSTAWRAP Full Enclosure Shrink Wrapper, or our FS Series Horizontal Shrink Wrappers. The DZ Series is offered in two different widths: 34”, or 44” and three different chamber heights: 16", 20" or 28" . All DZ Shrink tunnels are 97” long. The DZ series is supplied with your choice of the following tunnel conveyor:

  • Live Rollers for polyolefin applications
  • Dead Rollers for polyethylene applications
